  • Fixed typo whereby the Hacking Kit was incorrectly named Engineering Kit resulting in two items with the same name.

  • Special Weapon Proficiency and Weapon Specialization feats now makes a distinction between the different Special weapons.
  • Shuriken Assassin Operative exploit now adds proficiency and specialization for Carbonedge Shurikens.

  • Armor upgrades can now be assigned ammunition. This can be used to assign batteries to upgrades that need them.

  • Fixed an issue with how vitals were being calculated that would cause bonuses from feats to sometimes be missed.

  • Subtracting ammunition on the Quick page for a weapon now accounts for weapons that use multiple charges/rounds per shot.

Alternate Ability Score Generation Methods

Hephaistos now supports the alternate Ability Score generation methods mentioned in the Core Rulebook. In the Abilities section of the Creator page you can now choose between Point Buy, one of the Quick Pick arrays or Rolling Ability Scores, which lets you directly enter numbers you rolled.

Data

  • Added Creature Companion feats.
  • Updated with COM errata.
  • Added data from AP 34 and 35 (including Lunar Weapon).
  • Kishalee and Rel-State batteries are now considered ammunition instead of items. If you had previously added either of these items to your inventory you will need to do so again from the "Ammunition" tab in the Creator > Equipment section.

Improvements

  • Updated Celestial Stole to provide ER bonus.
  • Starship weapon mounts provided by the base frame can now be uninstalled. This allows upgrading base frame mounts. For example, upgrading a light weapon mount to a heavy is equivalent in Hephaistos to adding a heavy mount and removing the light mount.
  • Empty ammunition is now left in the inventory instead of being automatically removed.
  • Versatile Specialization and Versatile Focus now apply their effects.
  • Soulfire fusion now adds Charisma modifier to damage.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Witchwarper paradigm shift "Phantom Colossus" so it's available at level 8 instead of level 2.
  • Detect Thoughts is now marked as a level 1 Witchwarper spell.
  • Fixed Space Goblins so they now have a speed of 35 and bonuses to skill from racial traits are added.
  • Fixed issue with Solar Shield not accounting for bonuses normally provided to Unarmed Damage.
  • Fixed typo in the race name Shakalta.
  • Fixed issue where searching for parenthesis would break search.
  • Profession skills can now be removed.
  • Fixed issue with some shields having a Max Dex Bonus of -1.

Starship Builder

Over the past few months I've been working on a starship creator and sheet and this update finally adds that to the site. This includes systems from the CRB, SOM and other sources released so far. Like the characters, starships can be shared with a read-only link or have their ownership transferred to a different user.

Breaking Changes

Afflictions tracks now have "healthy" as their first state. If you had previously added afflictions to a character you'll find their progression is one step closer to healthy than it should be and will need to manually edit it to bring it back in line.

  • Added missing weapons from AP 26.
  • Added drugs and poisons.
  • Updated data with Alien Archive and Near Space errata.

Improvement

  • Technomancers with archetypes that provide a level 6 alternate feature now can choose whether to take a Magic Hack or gain the Cache Capacitor at level 8. Specifically, if you select a Magic Hack in the Technomancer section of the Creator page at level 8, then the Cache Capacitor will be delayed and you won't see it on the Quick section of the Sheet page. On the other hand, if you leave the 8th level Magic Hack select box at its default value of "Select One..." you will get the Cache Capacitor and should see it in the Quick section.
  • Solar shield now shows up in the inventory as a weapon. It can be customized and have Solarian crystals added to it.
  • Save and Skill DCs for class features are now shown on the sheet.

Bug Fixes

  • Corrected weapon fusion filtering when determining which fusions are valid for a given weapon.
  • Fixed issue where abilities (eg. racial traits or feats) granting spells would prevent those spells being selected as part of a class.
  • Fixed issue where changing Constitution value wouldn't immediately change max stamina.
  • Fixed typo in Mechanic's "Experimental Prototype" class feature.
